P.P.S. If youre a DSLR photographer, I highly recommend trying out RAW processing software. As I mentioned, FCP7 to CS5.5 apps give you additional features and options than Lightroom. While Lightroom is easier to navigate, I like the versatility that Adorables Camera Raw can offer. Lightroom gives you the most control over your photos, and its a great tool for post-processing. However, if you shoot in RAW, I highly recommend you at least look into its editing features.

PANEL: I still don’t see why you would not be able to set up a capture list of shots and have them all come up automatically in a batch for simple editing. You would have your shoot and then you can go back into the in-depth darkroom on a similar piece of paper.
RAW File Control: This might be a nice addition, but it is not necessary to have RAWs set to open. I still prefer the straightforward “RAWs only” option which may become annoying when you change the file format after the fact.

Recorder: Now the in-depth darkroom actually has the ability to record your camera/Lens settings. This is a pretty useful tool to start with and now you have the option of exporting and even creating your own presets.

Slideshow: For some reason, the slideshow mode is still rather rudimentary. You can go into crop and the image appears dimly. Otherwise, to the right it is just a slideshow of images.

Help: The editing help has been updated with many new tips and tutorials. More categories are showing up here and there are easier to find help pages. This is a great resource for both photographers and people in general who don’t use camera apps.
